The Shipping Federation of Canada has announced the following appointments to its executive committee, effective May 27:
• Chair: Jim Stoneman, president, Atship Services Ltd.
• Vice-chair: Brian McDonald; president, Montship Inc.
• Honorary treasurer: Ross Kennedy, president, Robert Reford.
These appointments come after the election of the following members, including Messrs. Stoneman (also chair of the Nova Scotia District Committee), McDonald and Kennedy, to the Federation’s board
of directors for the April 2010-April 2011 term of office:
• David Cardin, president, Maersk Canada Inc., and outgoing chair
• Paul Gourdeau, vice-president, operations and terminals, Fednav Ltd.
• Lou Holmes, president, Holmes Maritime
• Fritz King, managing director, Atlantic Container Line
• Volker Kluge, president, Zim Integrated Shipping Services (Canada) Co. Ltd.
• Andre Neuendorff, president, Protos Shipping Ltd.
• Holger Oëtjen, president, Hapag-Lloyd Canada Inc.
• Allan Philp, president, Laden Maritime Inc.
• Sokat Shaikh, managing director, MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Co.)
• Gordon Smith, president, F.K. Warren Ltd.
• Norma Tilley, manager, Canadian Maritime Agencies Ltd. (also chair of the Newfoundland-Labrador District Committee)
• Robert Vandenende, manager, operations, Gresco Ltd.
• David Watson, president, OOCL Canada Inc. (also chair of the Ontario District Committee)
