David Cree, president and CEO of the Windsor Port Authority, has announced the appointment of Peter Berry to the position of harbour master.
Mr. Berry replaces William Marshall, who recently retired after serving 11 years with the port authority.
Mr. Berry is a graduate of the University of Windsor, where he received a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in communications.
His work experience includes more than 10 years with Revenue Canada – Canada Border Services Agency and more recently as a business consultant working with firms in the areas of marketing, management systems and security.
“Mr. Berry brings to the Port of Windsor a wealth of experience and will greatly assist the port authority in developing new business opportunities and filling its mandate as the federal agency responsible for security and environmental stewardships of the Detroit River in this area,” Mr. Cree said.
