Air Canada in December extended its existing contracts for two Unisys air cargo solutions. The company’s hosting and integration services agreement will last another five years; the cargo portal services pact will run three more years.
“Our relationship with Unisys has worked very well for us,” said Lise-Marie Turpin, managing director of Air Canada Cargo. “As well as providing our enterprise system as a hosted service, we also collaborate on eBooking, Cargo 2000 shipment quality services and integration with specialist third-party software.”
Under the terms of the hosting and integration services agreement, Unisys will continue to host Air Canada on the Unisys Logistics Management System at its data centre in Minneapolis, Minn.
The other agreement is for an Internet portal for the air cargo industry that brings together a range of carriers and forwarders in a neutral and innovative portal with cross-market appeal. |
